took
up side drumming in 2001 under the tutelage of J. Reid Maxwell, lead drummer for the SFU Pipe Band. Despite starting as a mature student, Sherry went on to compete with the Bellingham Pipe Band at the Grade 4 level for four years.
| In 2009 Sherry joined the RCMP E Division Pipe Band as a side drummer, later switching over to play tenor drum in 2012. When not playing, she also enjoys supporting the band’s advertising needs as our resident graphic designer and as a member of the band’s executive. Most recently Sherry has been the Drum Corporal of the band's mid-section lending her skills to organizing and leading the tenor drummers. | | ||
